The Updates

Well, it's not "later today", but it's close!

I finished the fatass 5k, but miserably.  The rainy mist paired up with me running set off my asthma and running was just awful.  So my intervals were more walking than running, and my running was s-l-o-w.  But I finished!  My lungs were still screamin' about it when I went to bed last night, by I finished.

After the race, I met up with Jennifer and her girls, as well as her mom and sister.  We formed a plan for the upcoming baby showers for the two girls.  It's going to be fun having babies around!  Lots of work, and a whole new world for the girls, but fun all the same.

For dinner, the fam went to The Creek in Chatham.  The pipe band played there to promote next weekend's highland games, and the H.H. and I figured we might as well all go, and have dinner out.  The Creek has EXCELLENT pub food.  We might have had a long wait for a table - when we got there, the place was nearly packed.  But, as luck would have it, Jennifer and Ryan were there, and sitting by themselves at a table for 6, and they called us over to join them.  Yay for us!

All-in-all, a decent day.  Now, let's hope I'll be able to say the same about today.  :)
